About the Role

The Donor Care Representative serves as an ambassador for the Canadian Cancer Society, managing inbound donor calls to support fundraising and stewardship programs. This role offers training and development opportunities within Canada's largest national cancer charity for individuals passionate about customer service and the fundraising sector.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone
  • Support inbound inquiries regarding donation processing, campaign participation, and account maintenance
  • Maximize event fundraising by assisting participants with online profile set-up and fundraising tools
  • Meet or exceed monthly key performance targets for service level, revenue, and call quality
  • Accurately process donations and update donor information in CRM systems
  • Demonstrate passion for the organization's mission
  • Comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and internal safety policies
  • Contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging, and equity

Requirements

  • Bilingualism in French and English
  • Completion of related post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work full-time hours on varied shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. EST
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking team environment
  • High degree of concentration for accurate data entry
  • Ability to handle confidential issues and data
