About the Role

Amentum seeks a motivated individual for its Commercial function at the Hinkley Point C project. The role supports a multi-million pound framework contract, requiring strong commercial acumen and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the commercial function of the framework with the Commercial Manager and Project Controls team.
• Develop working relationships with Amentum, Client, and Subcontract teams to deliver contract requirements.
• Support the execution of NEC3 forms of contract activities, including payment applications, pricing, change management, and early warnings.
• Gather evidence for main contract applications and fulfill contract audit requirements.
• Assist Project Controls and Cost Engineers in submitting cost reports for Commercial Manager review, enabling data utilization for cost forecasts, revenue, and gross margin assumptions.
• Maintain Sub-Contract packages, including application assessments and change control.
• Ensure adherence to administrative processes for Sub-Contract payments to maintain main contract compliance.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar related subject.
• Previous Quantity Surveying or Commercial Contract Management work experience.
• Working knowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally NEC forms of contract.
• Security Cleared or ability to obtain the required level of clearance.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate confidently and work well under pressure.
• Hands-on with a can-do attitude, excellent work ethic, and ability to work within a team and autonomously.
• Locally based or willing to be based on site.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and general IT competence.
• Right to work in the UK.
