About the Role

Join the JW Marriott Berlin as a Commis de Cuisine / Breakfast Cook (m/f/d) and contribute to redefining luxury in the heart of Berlin. This role is for passionate individuals who love creating new concepts and are early risers.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute creative ideas.
• Support the breakfast team with all tasks, including cooking, preparation, and mise en place.
• Prepare diverse and individual buffets in the morning.
• Serve guests with delicious egg dishes at the live cooking station.
• Provide regular content for the marketing team via social media.
• Expand knowledge and learn new techniques.
• Adhere to hygiene regulations according to HACCP at all times.
• Control, comply with, and document internal hygiene standards.
• Conduct monthly inventories.
• Contribute to achieving guest satisfaction goals.

Requirements

• Completed cookery training and/or a degree in Culinary Management.
• First professional experience in upscale cuisine is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Confident demeanor, team spirit, and organizational skills.
• Warm, authentic, and sociable personality.
• Captivating communication and expression skills.
• Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with the team and trainees.
• Hands-on mentality with attention to detail.
• Very good German and good English language skills.
