About the Role
Berlin Music School is seeking a violin teacher for its Berlin-Tiergarten location, starting October 2026. This is a freelance position with approximately 3-4 teaching days per week, depending on scheduling and enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Teach violin to children, adolescents, and potentially adults.
- Primarily teach in French.
- Provide regular pedagogical support to students.
- Independently organize course content as part of freelance activity.
- Communicate with families regarding practical course organization.
- Prepare students for school auditions, concerts, and projects.
- Potentially participate in chamber music, ensembles, or school concerts.
Requirements
- Plays the violin at a very good level.
- Enjoys teaching children and adolescents.
- Ideally has pedagogical experience.
- Speaks French very well.
- Is reliable, open, punctual, and kind.
- Can communicate clearly with families.
- Works independently and responsibly within a freelance capacity.
