About the Role
The Alterationist is responsible for the prompt and effective repair and alterations of garments, uniforms, and other linens for The Star Sydney Team Members, Guests, and Hotel. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to test your skills and knowledge to deliver a thrilling new era for our housekeeping department.
Responsibilities
- Repair of linens, uniforms, and other items as required
- Ensure items are correctly identified and returned to owner/guest
- Understand all Alterationist processes and operation of the necessary machinery
- Safely use various pieces of equipment to perform tasks
Requirements
- Qualification or demonstrated experience in Alterations
- Tailoring qualifications highly regarded but not essential
- Able to work quickly and efficiently
- Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills
