About the Role
As a Recreation Attendant reporting to the Recreation Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of The Darling Pool and The Turbines Health Club. You’ll ensure both areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, while actively seeking opportunities to create memorable experiences for our guests. To succeed in this role, you must be a confident swimmer and demonstrate a proactive, guest-focused approach. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections with our local, interstate and international guests.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and safe environment for all guests at The Turbines Health Club and The Darling Pool
- Prepare and serve beverages and assist with food service from In-Room Dining
- Provide guests with clear instructions on exercise equipment when requested
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across all front and back-of-house areas
- Enter the pool and assist guests in the event of an emergency, ensuring their safety with confidence and care
Requirements
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NSW RSA Card (or interim certificate)
- Confident swimmer
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- Confident to make quick decisions
- Flexibility to work across the pool and health club operational hours
