About the Role

As a Guest Support Officer reporting to the Safer Gambling Duty Manager, you will drive the implementation of safer gambling initiatives and support our valued guests in making informed decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity for students, graduates and professionals looking to join our Safer Gaming team in at The Star Sydney.

Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic support to guests experiencing challenges related to gambling
  • Promote safer gambling practices through proactive communication
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance safety measures and awareness

Requirements

  • Experience in guest relations, Responsible Gambling programmes, Hospitality, support services, security, education
  • Demonstrated ability in developing productive relationships
  • Understanding of applicable laws, regulations, policy, relevant codes, safer gambling strategy and supporting information as they relate to the company
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Ability to show innovative thinking
