About the Role
The Village of Glendale Crossing has an exciting opportunity for a Cook to join their team, creating exceptional mealtime experiences for residents and their families.
Responsibilities
- Create exceptional mealtime experiences for residents and their families through the provision of delicious and well-balanced meals.
- Foster exemplary relationships with residents and their families while focusing on flexible dining and customer service.
- Be able to lift up to 35lbs.
- Follow meal plans in accordance with Physicians orders and nutritional guidelines.
- Lead other team members in pursuit of a resident-centered dining experience.
- Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture.
- Deliver the highest quality of service to residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets
- Produced food in large quantities, preferably in a hospital or long-term care setting
- Have proven leadership abilities
- Contribute toward a resident-centered care approach ensuring respect and dignity to all residents.
- Worked as a co-operative team member
