About the Role

The Marketing & Business Development Manager supports the fragrance sales organization by driving market intelligence, customer-focused marketing initiatives, and new business opportunities. This role acts as a strategic partner to sales, translating market trends and customer insights into actionable commercial strategies, contributing to marketing project coordination and value proposition development for sustainable sales growth. The position also supports consumer products and fine fragrance marketing needs, and identifies new customers and growth segments within the fragrance business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consumer products category insights and market intelligence, including trend analysis and competitive landscape sharing.
  • Support KR L&R and KGA/KIA outbound activities by preparing customer-specific materials, value propositions, and commercial support tools.
  • Proactively share relevant market and consumer insights with sales teams to support customer engagement and opportunity development.
  • Support the identification and development of new business opportunities within the fragrance business.
  • Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to support business development initiatives and customer projects.
  • Contribute to market analysis and business planning to support sustainable growth.
  • Other adhoc tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or commercial support within B2B or consumer products industries (fragrance, flavor, or FMCG preferred).
  • Strong understanding of market analysis, consumer trends, and commercial strategy support.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales and cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and high-quality graphic design; ability to prepare clear and structured commercial materials.
  • Open to foreign nationals; candidates must be legally eligible to work in Korea.
