About the Role
As a Store Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus, you’ll be passionate about people and their pets, providing exceptional, neighborly service. You will engage with customers, assist with product selection, handle transactions, and care for store animals.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, neighborly service.
- Assist neighbors in selecting appropriate products for their pets.
- Review and compare product ingredients.
- Fit pets with appropriate accessories like harnesses.
- Educate customers on pet ownership.
- Stock shelves and process purchases.
- Feed and maintain the cleanliness of animal habitats.
- Process purchases with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide Preferred Pet Club membership information.
- Safely unload delivery trucks using proper equipment.
- Stock shelves with merchandise.
- Carry purchases to neighbors' cars.
- Provide care for store pets, including cleaning, feeding, and handling.
- Answer questions on animal care.
- Support team members by providing backup when needed.
- Be knowledgeable about animals and products.
- Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
