About the Role

Responsibilities

• Build a world-class customer experience across the stack.
• Ship across backend, web, and infrastructure, and into mobile when features cross over.
• Use AI in your daily work and share patterns that help the team move faster.
• Spot customer moments where AI can create magic, prototype them, and bring them to life.
• Own delivery end-to-end, from problem identification to solution design and shipping.
• Be on the on-call rotation and stand behind shipped work in production.
• Watch latency, harden release processes, and protect what customers rely on.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and shape our codebase.
• Lift the people around you.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production software.
• Comfortable across backend, web, and infrastructure.
• Confident with TypeScript, GraphQL, and SQL.
• Familiarity with NestJS (or a similar Node.js framework) and React.
• Comfortable with GCP or a similar cloud environment, CI/CD, observability, and modern infrastructure tooling.
• Use AI assistants as part of your daily workflow and share patterns to help others.
• Measure work by customer impact, not just lines of code.
• Solid grasp of API design, observability, scaling, reliability, and security.
• Value clean APIs, attention to detail, and a positive developer experience.
• Ability to move forward when the path isn't clear.
• Write automated tests as you build.
• Demonstrate curiosity, energy, and a habit of moving things forward.
• Communicate clearly in writing and speech, and enjoy sharing knowledge.
• Right to work in the UK and based in London.
