About the Role

Join Investment Banking Coverage as an Associate level investment banker. You will have initiative and integrity, strong communication skills, commitment, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and assisting in origination and execution of M&A, Leverage Finance and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions with clients who are Financial Institutions
  • Supporting wider FIG team in the coverage effort of key coverage accounts
  • Conducting FIG sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis and financial modelling
  • Taking responsibility to communicate with team members and senior investment bankers in both origination and execution projects
  • Utilising sector knowledge to guide production of materials presented to FIG clients and assisting Country and Product bankers on opportunities

Requirements

  • Relevant extensive experience in Corporate Finance
  • Strong analytical approach combined with creative problem-solving abilities, high levels of initiative and ingenuity, high proactivity levels and drive
  • Effective organisational skills - the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to communicate well, excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in teams
  • Able to drive and influence senior, cross-functional and cross-regional deal teams, interfacing with multiple business partners across business lines and regions
  • Able to creatively solve problems and to successfully navigate a large, matrix-based organisation
