About the Role

As sunday's Data & AI Specialist, you will be the primary data and AI resource for the CEO Office, working at the intersection of strategy, operations, and innovation. You will identify business problems, develop data-driven solutions, design AI-powered tools, and implement them to scale. This role involves shaping the company's AI strategy and driving the transition to an AI-native organization. You will report to the Chief of Staff and collaborate with the CEO Office to address critical business challenges. This position is available as an end-of-studies internship or a full-time junior role, with opportunities for high performers to lead the growing AI team.

Responsibilities

Serve as the analytical backbone for the CEO Office, building dashboards, pulling data, and conducting ad-hoc analyses.
Drive sunday's AI strategy by scouting the competitive landscape and identifying AI-native processes for implementation.
Educate the CEO Office on AI and data concepts, making complex topics clear and actionable.
Connect data insights to business problems across adoption, sales velocity, and operational efficiency.
Build end-to-end solutions for identified problems, from coding to scaling.
Iterate quickly, learn from failures, and prioritize progress over perfection.

Requirements

Strong command of SQL, Python, Looker, Metabase, and ideally Salesforce.
Proficiency with AI coding tools like Cursor for end-to-end solution development.
Ability to seek granular insights and dive deep into data.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Relentless bias for action, with the ability to move fast and follow through.
Ability to push through resistance and introduce AI thinking to skeptical individuals.
Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred.
Exposure to the hospitality or restaurant tech industry is a plus.
Interest in competitive intelligence or product strategy is a plus.
