About the Role
The WCIRB is seeking a Software Developer to collaborate with cross-functional teams, write and test code, participate in code reviews, deploy solutions, and provide technical support. This role involves developing and maintaining software applications using .NET Core and Azure, integrating third-party services, and creating technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including solution architects, scrum masters, product owners, UX designers, and quality assurance engineers, to develop robust software solutions.
- Write code and conduct unit tests to ensure the high quality and functionality of software.
- Participate actively in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Deploy solutions following DevOps best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug software and application issues promptly.
- Provide technical support for software developed by oneself and others.
- Develop and maintain software applications using .NET Core and Azure platform.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing of software components.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services into the application architecture.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation.
- Submit code for review to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with established standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose effective solutions.
Requirements
- At least two years of paid experience as a software developer.
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with the use of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) as an integral part of software design and delivery.
- Familiarity with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- The successful candidate will reside in California.
