About the Role

This is a senior, highly strategic role responsible for partnering with key business areas including Claims, Finance and Actuarial/Risk, ensuring that IT & Operations delivers aligned, high-impact outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between business units and IT & Operations, aligning technology delivery with business goals.
• Build and influence strong relationships with senior business leaders, ensuring alignment on priorities, strategy and outcomes.
• Identify, prioritise and develop high-value business initiatives, supporting business case development and solution design.
• Ensure optimal service levels across IT & Operations, acting as an escalation point and resolving performance or service challenges.
• Lead cross-functional teams, bringing together business and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions and improvements.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on plans, performance and operational outcomes across assigned areas.
• Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational and business performance.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of insurance operations, business processes and strategic priorities.
• Knowledge of IT capabilities and how to leverage them to deliver business value.
• Proven ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders across business and technology functions.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
• Experience advising at senior level, shaping direction and influencing key decisions.
• Strong programme and project management capability, with experience handling multiple priorities.
• Ability to establish trust and collaboration across functions in a matrix environment.
• Awareness of market trends and ability to bring forward innovative ideas and solutions.
