About the Role

As a Junior Software Engineer on the Ingestion and Aggregation teams, you will contribute to a content metadata platform. You will help build the pipeline that pulls content from partner sources, processes it through a multi-step workflow, and aggregates it into unified metadata for downstream products. This role involves working on real, customer-facing services alongside experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain REST APIs and background workers.
• Write unit tests for shipped code.
• Debug and improve data pipelines.
• Learn how large systems are deployed and monitored in the cloud.
• Grow skills through code review, pairing, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area.
• 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Skills

• C# 12 and .NET 8 (ASP.NET Core Web APIs and background workers)
• Layered service architecture and SDK clients
• Data access with Microsoft SQL Server, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Mongo
• Messaging and orchestration with MassTransit, RabbitMQ
• REST tooling: Swagger/OpenAPI, RestSharp
• Testing with xUnit, Moq​
• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards
• Assistive technologies
• Digital accessibility integration
