About the Role
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the transport, installation, and maintenance of equipment, replacement parts, tools, and micro market and office coffee equipment. This role involves in-field rebuilding of vending, micro market, and office coffee equipment to ensure continuous operation and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Transport, install, and maintain equipment, replacement parts, tools, and micro market and office coffee equipment.
- Perform in-field rebuilding of vending, micro market, and office coffee equipment.
- Repair and install vending, office coffee, and micro market equipment.
- Transport equipment, install replacement parts, and perform repairs using tools and vending equipment.
- Troubleshoot and restore malfunctioning machines to working order in the field.
- Swap failed equipment, perform cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor adjustments.
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers and clients.
- Run electrical wire and plumbing tubes as needed.
- Respond promptly to customer needs and requests.
- Support a service-oriented environment.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Follow through with customer requests and questions.
- Continuously seek to exceed customer expectations.
- Perform additional projects and assignments as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience repairing vending, coffee, or small machines
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, or electronics
- Valid, clean driver’s license (Chauffeur’s License may be required – MI only)
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical (MI, IN, PA, and NY only)
- Ability to lift 75–100 pounds
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing, crouching, bending, kneeling, and twisting
- Comfortable working and driving in various environments and weather conditions
