About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), specializing in Security, to drive customer transformation on Microsoft's Purview Data Security, Sentinel, and Defender XDR solutions. This customer-facing role involves owning the technical relationship, guiding customers through architecture, implementation, and operational health engagements, and working with Enterprise level customers on cutting-edge security solutions.

Responsibilities

Own customer engagements deliveries, including architecture design sessions, specific implementation projects/pilots, and removing technical blockers.
Drive successful customer security outcomes through design and engagement with key customer teams.
Drive positive Customer Satisfaction and become a trusted advisor.
Provide feedback and insights from customers/partners.
Act as the Voice of the Customer to share insights and best practices, connecting with Global Security teams, Engineering, and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.
Land an end-to-end value proposition for Security (e.g., Zero Trust) across Microsoft Security offerings, focusing on Threat Protection, ID + Access Management, Data Security, and Cloud Security.
Position and deliver solutions that drive Security product usage and develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results.
Identify resolutions to Customer blockers by leveraging SA subject matter expertise.
Deliver according to MS best practices and using repeatable IP.
Accelerate Business Value of overall Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring a "Secure by Design" framework.
Align individual skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals.
Share expertise, contribute to IP creation and re-use to accelerate customer outcomes.
Run Architectural Design Sessions to build implementation plans, governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment.
Collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform.
Leverage technical experience in foundational security, foundational AI, architecture design, with depth Subject Matter Expertise in security to deliver the end-to-end security story for Microsoft, highlighting value proposition using experience in security and expertise around related technologies and concepts such as Data Security, Zero Trust, threat management, SOC monitoring (SIEM / SOAR), Extended Detection & Response (XDR) + SIEM, Cloud Security, and Identity.

Deep technical expertise.
Success building trusted advisor relationships with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and Developers.
Proven ability to map customer needs to technical solutions.
Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Security Solutions and competitors.
Empathy, curiosity, and desire to constantly improve, acquire new skills, and drive for results.
Demonstrated technical leadership in previous roles.
Ability to quickly resolve customer escalations by coordinating appropriate resources.
Business Value: Ability to convey the business need and value of proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision makers.
Trusted Advisership: Ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders.
Situational fluency: Using self-awareness to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues.
