Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Interpret diagnostic images and provide accurate reports to referring physicians
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiological technologies and practices
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper protocols
- Participate in peer review and quality assurance activities
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their imaging procedures
- Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities
- Performing breast biopsies in all modalities (US-guided, stereotactic, and MR-guided)
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency training in Radiology
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using radiological equipment and software
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Must be board-certified
