About the Role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Segment Leader – Heavy Industries (Mining, Minerals, Metals & Oil & Gas) to lead growth and development in a key market segment across the Pacific Zone. This strategic, customer-facing role involves shaping market direction, strengthening executive relationships, and collaborating across teams to drive sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Driving the overall commercial strategy and performance of the segment.
  • Leading sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and strategic customers.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic accounts.
  • Driving collaboration across sales, marketing, services, and partner ecosystems.
  • Monitoring pipeline performance, forecasting opportunities, and ensuring CRM discipline.
  • Acting as a market thought leader, promoting digital, software, services, and sustainability solutions.
  • Coaching and enabling sales teams to build capability and deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Contributing to strategic planning, business development, and sales and marketing plans.

Requirements

  • Experienced commercial leader with deep knowledge of the Mining, Minerals, Metals & Oil & Gas industry.
  • Ability to influence without boundaries and build executive relationships.
  • Extensive experience leading commercial growth, strategic account management, or business development in a complex B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of solution selling across technology, energy, infrastructure, automation, industrial, or commercial markets.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
  • Experience developing and executing commercial strategies that deliver measurable business growth.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing revenue, pipeline, and business performance.
  • Must have working rights in Australia.
