About the Role
This role involves identifying opportunities for server component upgrades, validating network infrastructure, and monitoring/assigning work within a ticketing system. You will mentor junior technicians, implement technical solutions, and train others on advanced repair techniques while adhering to operational procedures. Additionally, you will serve as a technical liaison, providing expertise to mitigate risks related to resiliency, reliability, and availability.
Responsibilities
- Identifies opportunities for server component replacement or upgrades.
- Validates cabling, network environment build, and connectivity.
- Monitors and assigns work in a ticketing environment.
- Mentors less experienced technicians.
- Implements technical solutions.
- Trains advanced fix and repair techniques aligned with corporate objectives.
- Adheres to SOPs and MOPs for Data Center Change Control processes.
- Acts as a technical liaison for technical and non-technical teams.
- Provides subject matter expertise to identify and resolve resiliency, reliability, and availability risks.
Requirements
- Experience with server components.
- Knowledge of cabling and network connectivity.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems.
- Ability to mentor junior technicians.
- Understanding of Data Center Change Control processes.
