About the Role
Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Dallas.
Responsibilities
- Develop contacts and quickly build relationships with potential customers.
- Effectively negotiate business and legal provisions of construction contracts.
- Consistently achieve high levels of quality, design, and profitability on assigned projects.
- Assure the team's accounts receivables are managed effectively and collected promptly.
- Assure warranty issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Assure general team administrative responsibilities are carried out promptly and accurately.
- Participate or lead owner/client presentations and negotiations.
- Oversee design development, budget preparation, and development of project schedules.
- Supervise a team of Project Engineers, Sr. Project Engineers, Project Managers I & II, and Project Assistants, as required.
- Play a key role in developing procurement strategy including preparing bid documents, negotiating, and awarding subcontracts.
Requirements
- Must have at least 10 years of experience in project management with contract values from $10-$100M+.
- A bachelor's degree in construction management or construction engineering is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Proliance.
- Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control, material pricing, and design management is required.
- Proven ability to manage teams successfully and profitably.
- Ability to make effective and convincing formal sales presentations.
- Ability to delegate appropriate type and amount of work to others.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and balance big picture and immediate responsibilities.
- Position requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.
