About the Role
As an Asset Protection Supervisor, you will play a vital role in protecting Sephora's people, clients, and brand. You will lead and develop Asset Protection Partners, champion safety and shrink prevention, and partner with store leadership to create a secure and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, and provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and guidance to Asset Protection Partners.
- Implement asset protection plans to reduce shrink, focusing on high-risk departments.
- Lead store programs focused on safety, profit protection, and shrink prevention.
- Ensure adherence to AP and operational standards; investigate discrepancies, fraud, and misconduct.
- Maintain proper use of asset protection systems including CCTV, alarms, and locks.
- Build relationships with retailers, industry groups, law enforcement, and mall/property teams.
- Model inclusive leadership and Sephora values consistently.
Requirements
- 3+ years in asset protection or loss prevention, ideally multi-location.
- Experience leading teams and partnering with store leaders to drive results.
- Sound judgment under pressure and ability to guide others to reduce loss.
- Discretion and ethical judgment.
- Working knowledge of retail criminal/civil law.
- Investigative interviewing experience; Wicklander-Zulawski or similar preferred.
- Clear and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Experience with AP tools, MS Office, and retail systems (POS, inventory, scheduling).
