About the Role

Schwab’s Advisor Services Data Delivery Team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build, enhance, test, deploy, and support cloud-based applications for critical, high-volume processing for Advisor clients and third parties. This role involves solving complex problems, contributing to reliable data delivery solutions, and supporting applications throughout the software development lifecycle in an agile environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of professional software development experience
Experience developing applications using Java
Experience with Spring frameworks, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Data Flow, or related technologies
Experience working with relational databases, SQL, and stored procedures
Experience writing unit tests with strong code coverage
Understanding of Agile development practices and the software development lifecycle
Experience with CI/CD practices
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to quickly learn new technologies, apply sound judgment, and drive work to completion
Strong verbal and written communication skills
