About the Role
Lead a goal-oriented support services department to create a productive, efficient, and rewarding team environment where people enjoy coming to work and collaborating to achieve departmental goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership that supports a team environment fostering morale, passion, quality, and respect.
- Maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead and manage team member recruiting, training, development, and assignments.
- Perform daily inspections and assessments, and coach and counsel team members.
- Collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals.
- Execute, maintain, and monitor quality control systems and budgets.
- Deliver excellent service and provide service recovery.
- Manage invoicing, vendor relationships, planning, supplies, status reporting, and contract administration.
- Proactively identify issues and threats, coordinate with leadership to support service, and communicate with the customer.
- Prepare for and manage irregular operations and emergency situations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of customer service management experience in an operation of equivalent size and scope.
- High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms.
- Willingness to relocate for promotion opportunities.
- Experience working in an airport/aviation industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish, is a plus.
- Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.
