About the Role
Cumming Group is seeking a Remote Director of Estimating to lead estimating efforts for a high-profile life sciences client. This role involves working on complex, cutting-edge projects with a collaborative team, contributing to one of the fastest-growing project and cost management consultancies in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Consult executive level existing clientele, showcasing services and making client needs top priority.
- Increase services to existing clientele by providing solutions and developing new revenue generating business.
- Actively participate in the recruitment and development of diverse and talented team members.
- Partner with other Cumming service line leaders for an integrated project approach.
- Prepare fee proposals and negotiate professional services agreements.
- Provide quality assurance to cost estimates before submittal to clients.
- Provide suggestions to Cumming senior leadership on cost management operations and goal setting.
- Oversee quality of team output and coach for excellent performance.
- Vigorously grow revenue in diverse service offering or markets.
- Accountable for fiscal performance in accordance with company goals.
- Provide timely business reporting for forecasts.
- Interpret company results and P&L for area of responsibility and provide reporting to senior management.
- Mentor and lead team development.
- Approve invoices and pursue Accounts receivable with F&A.
- Set strategy for business development and marketing.
- Provide organizational leadership in area of responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Attend work during normal business hours.
Requirements

- Ability to develop estimates from early conceptual design through detailed construction documents.
