About the Role

The Vice President of Marketing will lead all marketing activities across the US for Dyson's product portfolio, driving sales growth, market share, and brand reputation through market research, advertising, digital strategies, and public relations. This role manages a diverse, high-performing team and shapes how Dyson adapts to an evolving, fast-moving marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver a 3-year growth strategy for US products and channels.
  • Lead annual and commercial planning, with responsibility for P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI.
  • Maximize sales, profitability, and competitiveness for both existing and new products.
  • Develop business plans, range strategies, and product differentiation across channels.
  • Partner with sales teams and retailers to build and execute go-to-market plans.
  • Drive brand building and awareness; lead creative and media strategies for the US.
  • Explore and implement innovative digital and traditional media opportunities.
  • Serve as the US product advocate—energizing and equipping our teams for commercial success.
  • Oversee market and competitor analysis to inform strategy and campaign optimization.
  • Identify customer trends and build new marketing capabilities to address emerging segments.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and as part of global teams.

Requirements

  • 15+ years’ high-tech marketing experience, leading teams of 20+ with major consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated success at building brand presence: public speaking, publishing, and a strong professional network.
  • Deep expertise in consumer goods and technology sectors.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills—comfortable using market data to unlock growth.
  • Experience in cross-functional partnerships, especially with sales.
  • Track record as a marketing technologist, combining product, data, and marketing to drive results.
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and entrepreneurial growth.
  • Management consulting experience at top firms is a plus.
  • Curious, creative, and driven by consumer insight.
  • Exceptional attention to detail—delivers high-quality, well-executed work.
  • Strong communicator across all levels—both written and verbal.
  • Entrepreneurial and adaptable; comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.

  • $325,000 - $365,000 annually + bonus opportunity
