About the Role

The Assistant Resident Manager reports to the Senior Property Manager and is responsible for the professional management, administration, and leasing of a Centurion apartment community. This role ensures the building is managed efficiently, within budget, and according to corporate standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and foster positive relationships with co-workers and residents
  • Resolve co-worker or resident concerns in a proactive and timely manner
  • Handle resident inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
  • Promote a strong sense of community
  • Operate properties consistent with corporate standards and annual budgets
  • Ensure adherence to all property policies and procedures
  • Complete monthly fire system testing and annual fire drills
  • Market, show, and rent apartments
  • Collect applications, deposits, and rental payments
  • Administer and complete minor maintenance and work order repairs
  • Review apartments at turnover and prepare scopes of work for renovations
  • Ensure vacant apartments are clean and rent-ready
  • Maintain building inventories, logs, and required checks
  • Schedule and complete preventative maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas and grounds
  • Perform landscaping duties including lawn care and snow/ice removal
  • Manage maintenance supply inventory and order as necessary
  • Report building or apartment deficiencies to the Senior Property Manager
  • Provide 24/7 emergency response for essential services
  • Execute fire and life safety procedures during emergencies

Requirements
