About the Role
DashMart is building a new type of convenience store. This role will guide a shift of 2-10 employees through daily operations, including delegating tasks, ensuring a high-quality customer experience, and promoting a positive work environment. This is an interim position for three months, with potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Lead Operations Associates through their shift, ensuring the team is set up for success to work safely and productively.
- Serve as the point of escalation for daily operations, including scheduling and attendance.
- Provide real-time feedback to Operations Associates about performance and partner with Site Managers for next steps.
- Receive product from vendors, place product in appropriate locations, prepare customer orders, and help clean and organize work areas.
- Maintain menus and systems, communicate with customers when issues arise, and ensure smooth Dasher pickups.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and manage regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.
- Contribute ideas to improve quality and customer experience.
Requirements
- Self-motivated, positive, and a team player with high integrity.
- Proven track record of success in a warehouse, retail, or restaurant environment.
- Able to be on your feet and move heavy products.
- Physically able (with or without accommodation) to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Organized and proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- Flexibility in schedule, may be required to work any day of the week across daily operating hours.
