About the Role
The HR Senior Specialist will provide generalist HR support to BCG Canada staff, including onboarding, benefits and compensation administration, policy interpretation, and HR communications. This role is crucial for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide generalist HR support to BCG Canada staff.
- Manage employee onboarding and off-boarding processes.
- Administer benefits and compensation.
- Interpret and communicate HR policies.
- Maintain employee files and HRIS systems.
- Oversee HR communications.
- Collaborate with the Canada HR team, Consulting Experience Team, and BST.
- Support staff with career development and life events.
- Manage employee relations.
- Interpret and implement HR benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with Diversity, Inclusion, Mental Health and Wellness programming.
- Manage the Canada BST Co-op program, including recruitment and onboarding.
- Oversee employee leave programs (ULOA, maternity, paternity).
- Coordinate benefits enrollments, changes, terminations, and inquiries.
- Produce HR reports (immigration tracker, people changes, attrition, compliance training, overtime, vacation, payroll, government requirements).
- Contribute to HR projects, programs, events, and process improvements.
- Participate in broader HR community initiatives.
- Manage maintenance of Canada HR intranet pages and orientation deck.
- Coordinate communication of payments to Payroll.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field strongly preferred.
- Three+ years of human resources experience, preferably in a high touch environment with professional staff.
- Familiarity with Quebec, Ontario, and Alberta employment standards.
- Computer proficiency in Windows, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to perform tasks with high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.

- $88,000-$109,000 base salary
- Discretionary bonus of up to 12%
- Retirement contribution starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years
