About the Role
The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for designing, automating, and deploying production-grade services for customers on various cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP. This role collaborates closely with Cloud Architects and Development teams to ensure infrastructure meets project deliverables with high quality and operational maturity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Development and Architecture teams to build complex and highly available cloud environments for Internal and External infrastructure builds.
- Provide Level 3 Technical support to Internal teams, Customers and Partners to support our core product.
- Lead and educate clients on cloud deployment patterns.
- Act as a SME for implementing and building infrastructure to support our core product.
- Investigate and resolve customer integration issues during implementation.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Perform root cause analysis for implementation errors and provide feedback to the Core dev team.
- Document best practices and lessons learned.
- Design, implement, and maintain a secure and scalable infrastructure platform.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support of internal tools, improving system health and reliability.
- Ensure accurate reporting of working hours in Netsuite, tracking billable hours, and proper utilization of the project management tool.
- Participate in on-call rotation for application and infrastructure support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- At least 6+ years of experience in Information technology, with infrastructure and platform services automation expertise.
- 3+ years of experience with engineering and supporting containerization technology.
- 3+ years of experience on AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP.
- Experience building end-to-end cloud solutions using low-level architecture documents.
- Demonstrated experience translating customer requirements to net-new infrastructure to address business needs.
- Expertise in troubleshooting support escalations, on-call process optimization, and documenting knowledge.
- Solid networking fundamentals and proven experience with Security and Compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO27001) best practices and implementing controls for high-velocity software delivery teams.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes/Openshift and Docker.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Deep knowledge of cloud service providers and best practices around implementation and configuration, preferably managing customer environments.

Salary/Compensations
- $130,000 - $145,000 a year
