About the Role
Town School for Boys seeks a part-time Level 1 support technician to support the Technology Team during peak morning hours of operation from 7:30-10:30 AM. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and adapt to technical challenges quickly.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff, faculty, and students
- Maintain and troubleshoot Mac OSX, iOS, and Chrome devices and printers, and other peripherals
- Support administration and faculty with AV setup and troubleshooting
- Maintain inventory of department repairs and equipment loans
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Working knowledge of the fundamental operation of relevant software and hardware to support the educational and administrative needs of the school
- Ability to independently analyze and solve technology issues
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and willingness to explore emerging technologies
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Frequently lift up to 30 lb. of computer equipment.
- Crawl under or around furniture to adjust computer equipment.
- Climb ladders and reach to adjust computer wiring and perform other tasks.
