About the Role
Now Dental of Suffolk is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to make a difference every day in a collaborative, patient-centered practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists chairside during procedures, passing instruments and supporting patient comfort
- Take and process digital x-rays
- Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts and removable appliances
- Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance
- Track supplies and ensure operatories are stocked and organized
- Document patient services accurately in digital records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, aftercare, and preventive practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- CPR certification
- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience (required)
- Denticon software knowledge (a plus)
- Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)
