About the Role

BLADE is seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Flier Experience Associate to join the team. In this guest-facing role, you will be the face of the brand, delivering exceptional hospitality and seamless service throughout every step of the flier journey, creating a premium, personalized travel experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador of the brand by providing guests with reservation updates, pertinent information, BLADE amenities, and ground transport recommendations.
  • Confirm passenger lists, flight status, and other information using electronic tablets to ensure efficient check-in.
  • Offer and serve refreshments to passengers before and after flights.
  • Manage inventory orders and ensure the station is stocked with necessary materials.
  • Record guest preferences in passenger profiles for follow-up by appropriate departments.
  • Escort guests to their aircraft or ground transportation and assist with luggage.
  • Adapt to the nuances of working at different BLADE stations.
  • Respond promptly and tactfully to guest requests or complaints.
  • Record irregularities and discrepancies on the departmental Slack channel and report to team leaders.
  • Maintain discretion by keeping all flier, guest, and company data confidential.
  • Organize and maintain the front desk/counter, ensuring materials and supplies are readily available.
  • Familiarize yourself with all BLADE services and departments to address, assist, and upsell to guests.
  • Prioritize safety and report all incidents immediately to senior management.
  • Arrange ground transportation for passengers and ensure vehicles are staged for arrival.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Must be over 18 years old.
  • Must be able to commute to Hudson Yards via mass transit or have own transportation.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule from 5/11/26 to 9/11/26, including on-call rotations, Saturdays & Sundays, early mornings, evenings, and holidays.
  • Possesses great communication skills, with the ability to present and speak with confidence and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform with grace under pressure.
  • Ability to be sensitive to cultural nuances.
  • The majority of the work takes place outdoors on the airport ramp or cargo areas, exposed to various weather conditions.
  • Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as required.
