About the Role
The Financial Analyst, FP&A will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and partnering with various teams to drive decision-making and resource planning. This role is crucial for evaluating, planning, executing, and measuring strategic business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Establish positive relationships and become a key advisor for the P&T Finance team, understanding business drivers and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Build and maintain detailed financial and operating models for budget support, including headcount planning and optimization.
- Input financial forecasts into new financial systems.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to guide leaders on operating strategies, resource allocation, and investments.
- Perform financial month-end close activities, including headcount reconciliations, accrual reviews, and budget vs. actuals analysis.
- Improve and scale business, operational, and financial processes, standardizing and automating reports and leveraging internal systems.
- Partner with recruiting, analytics, and HR to drive efficiencies in workforce planning and reporting.
- Explore leveraging AI tools to improve manual processes and build new reporting capabilities.
- Prepare schedules and analysis for planning cycles and develop support for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, or economics preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, or strong analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Google Suite, and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Confidence to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels.
- Prior business partnering experience preferred, within a tech company a plus.
- Drive for results with the capacity to multitask and prioritize.
- Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
