About the Role

We are seeking a Scrum Master to join the Business PMO, Delivery Optimization division. Reporting to the Director of Delivery Optimization, you will use servant leadership to coach and mentor the team in Agile product/project development and delivery optimization. Your role involves enabling the team to remove impediments, fostering transparency, and promoting collaboration between the Product Owner and the team. You will also coach team members on continuous process improvements and goals, focusing on achieving excellent results while building a trusting and safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and guide the team on how to use Scrum, Kanban and other Agile practices and approaches.
  • Coach the team on effective use of Scrum Events and other collaborative team working sessions.
  • Collaborate with and support the Product Owner in developing the Product Goal, Product Backlog, and Sprint Goals.
  • Facilitate the removal of impediments and coach the team in maintaining focus by managing external interferences.
  • Foster collaboration across team members, encouraging cross-training and mutual support.
  • Guide and coach those outside the teams to understand which interactions with the team are helpful and which are not.
  • Keep the team organized and on track via data analysis and reporting.
  • Foster self-organization and growth within the team.
  • Reinforce an Agile mindset - continuous Improvement in teams through conversations, coaching, and role-playing exercises.
  • Hands on with JIRA and Confluence to ensure board(s) and cards are appropriately updated.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Kanban Professional, during which you coached teams on Agile practices and optimizing value delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote innovative thinking and self-improvement within the team.
  • Proven knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, scaling or hybrid methods to guide and optimize the way the team works with maximum efficiency & effectiveness.
  • Experience with technology product management and delivery an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts.
  • Bring a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around her/him.
  • Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace.
  • Reliability Status Security Clearance required as a condition of employment.

Salary/Compensations

  • $80,400 - $130,400 annually
