About the Role

Janus Henderson is seeking an AI Business Partner for Builders to design and lead the expansion of AI capabilities for engineers, architects, product owners, analysts, data engineers, quants, and platform specialists. This role involves defining curriculum, establishing a cohort model, and partnering across departments to ensure the effective utilization of modern AI tooling and best practices, accelerating the firm's AI transformation.

Responsibilities

Design and run the Builders curriculum, including a general foundation and role-specific tracks.
Design and lead the Builders cohort, equipping them to cascade training.
Partner with Percepta and the Technology org to design Phase 3 for enabling AI-native application development on the JHOS platform.
Run hands-on, workshop-style sessions covering various AI engineering topics.
Partner with Technology, Security, and Architecture to resolve adoption blockers.
Develop and implement appropriate metrics within the AI Academy framework.
Stay current with the rapidly evolving AI engineering landscape and translate findings into curriculum changes.
Collaborate with Technology, Security, and Responsible AI teams to ensure alignment with firm governance, data privacy, and compliance.
Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Hands-on engineering credibility with experience shipping software and using modern coding agents.
Working fluency with the modern AI engineering stack, including agentic harnesses, MCP, and agentic CI/CD patterns.
Curriculum design and facilitation experience for engineers and technologists.
Strong cross-persona communication skills, credible with various technical and business stakeholders.
Practical change management instincts to address adoption blockers.
Business analysis and measurement literacy, comfortable with DORA metrics and developer experience research.
Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity in a new and evolving effort.
Strong documentation instincts to produce reusable curriculum and playbooks.
Experience working in a regulated environment (financial services, healthcare, legal, government).
