About the Role

TYLin is seeking a technically driven Project Manager – CADD Management to lead the coordination, management, and delivery of digital design production for complex airport infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an experienced CADD professional who combines exceptional technical expertise with strong leadership skills and a passion for developing high-performing design production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage teams of CADD designers, BIM specialists, and drafting technicians supporting aviation projects.
  • Develop production plans, staffing strategies, and resource allocations to support multiple concurrent projects.
  • Oversee the preparation of high-quality design drawings, construction documents, and digital models throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Establish and maintain CADD, BIM, and digital design standards across project teams.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design production involving architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utilities, and airside infrastructure.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with client standards, TYLin procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Manage model coordination, drawing integration, clash resolution, and document control activities.
  • Support Design Managers and Project Managers in monitoring project schedules, deliverables, and production milestones.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation, standardization, and digital innovation.
  • Mentor and develop junior designers and CADD technicians through technical coaching and quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with IT and Digital Practice teams to implement new software, workflows, and design technologies.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Architecture, Drafting, Construction Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of progressively responsible experience in CADD, BIM, or digital design management, preferably within aviation, transportation, or large infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading CADD production teams on complex multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong understanding of BIM workflows, digital coordination, and multidisciplinary design integration.
  • Experience managing project production schedules, quality assurance, and technical coordination.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Airport or transportation infrastructure project experience.
  • Experience supporting large airport terminal, landside, or airside development programs.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bentley ProjectWise, or other common document management environments.
  • Experience with clash detection, model federation, and digital design review processes.
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (Dynamo, AutoLISP, Python, PowerShell, or similar) is considered an asset.
  • Experience implementing CAD/BIM standards and digital quality management systems.
