About the Role
Responsible for developing, communicating, and administering HR policies and programs to support the company’s overall business plan within a designated geographical and/or functional area.
Responsibilities
- Supports approximately 300–450 employees
- Interprets and explains human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations to assist managers and employees
- Serves as an HR Business Partner to field leadership
- Directs and manages tasks, programs, and projects within the Field team
- Provides strategic consulting to field leadership and hiring managers regarding staffing needs, compensation, performance management, employee relations, policy compliance, and training
- Provides direction, coaching, and leadership to assigned Human Resources staff
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency of services
- Partners with centers of expertise for payroll processing, employee benefits programs, and national HR programs
- Partners with center of expertise to ensure compliance with all applicable employment legislation and monitor local EEO practices
- Works with national and local leadership to provide on-site support for employee transition activities associated with outsourcing service contracts, mergers, and acquisitions
- Conducts employee relations counseling, mediation, and investigations, and handles employee grievances
- Maintains advanced knowledge of HR Systems

- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel
- Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
- Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented
