About the Role

Redfin is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for critical customer experiences across their native iOS and Android apps. This role involves owning products that directly influence customer growth and engagement, partnering with various teams, and contributing to the evolution of the mobile architecture and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mobile engineers building customer-facing experiences across Redfin's iOS and Android apps.
• Oversee the end-to-end mobile development lifecycle, shipping high-quality updates weekly.
• Partner with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and Data to prioritize work.
• Mentor and coach engineers, guiding technical and design decisions.
• Recruit and develop exceptional mobile engineers, providing feedback and career guidance.
• Define the team's technical strategy and product roadmap.
• Foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and collaboration.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering workflows and improve productivity.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience developing for iOS or Android.
• 3+ years managing teams of primarily mid to senior level mobile engineers delivering consumer-facing products.
• Proven track record of building high-performing teams and connecting engineering work to customer and business outcomes.
• Experience using modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies.
