About the Role

This Sr. Analyst, Toy FP&A position will provide analytical tools and insights to measure toy line profitability, directly supporting the development of winning brand strategies and business plans. You will produce high-quality financial plans and actionable insights that drive profitable growth for iconic toy brands and global markets.

Responsibilities

  • Be the financial co-pilot for the Toy Creative Center
  • Own Toy SG&A planning and management
  • Develop partnership with Brand Finance, Accounting, Finance Reporting, and various Toy leaders
  • Develop insightful presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable stories for the executive team
  • Assist in analyzing and reporting monthly profitability results
  • Consolidate the Toy Line Plan (TLP) and provide deep financial insights and analytics for annual budget, quarterly forecasts and latest estimates
  • Support Spin Master’s ERP implementation by performing system testing, creating process documentation, and assisting in other project deliverables
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, workflows and adopt best practices
  • Perform analysis and other ad-hoc projects to support the Toy team

Requirements

  • A post-secondary degree in business, economics, commerce, or a related field
  • Knowledge of and experience with ERP and Planning Software mandatory (SAP, SAP BPC, Anaplan preferred)
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years’ experience in public company setting or public accounting firm
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data automation
  • Experience with Power BI and dashboard creation is also considered an asset
