About the Role
The Lead Front Desk Clerk provides support and guidance to the front desk team and performs administrative duties. This role also involves fulfilling all duties of a Front Desk Clerk, including shift work, resident interaction, policy communication, and community safety promotion.
Responsibilities
- Perform all functions of a Front Desk Clerk, including resident identification, responding to resident issues and emergencies, office operations, communicating community policies, preparing incident and shift reports, and monitoring surveillance and guest logs.
- Serve as a resource for Front Desk Clerks seeking support and guidance during scheduled shifts.
- Collaborate with the Front Desk Leadership Team by contributing a Front Desk Clerk's perspective, sharing ideas, and problem-solving.
- Provide guidance to Front Desk Staff at all SRO Communities by answering questions and problem-solving while on duty.
- Maintain team schedule integrity by covering shifts as needed across SRO Communities.
- Manage staff call-outs and arrange for staff coverage.
- Train and shadow new Front Desk Clerk staff members.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining Front Desk Binders, supply trackers, and team tools.
- Ensure confidentiality of resident, staff records, and information.
- Foster professional relationships with staff, volunteers, and residents.
- Provide desk coverage at all Foundation Communities SROs, prioritizing high-intensity properties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have reliable, dependable transportation in working condition.
- Exceptional interpersonal and human relation skills.
- Ability to deescalate difficult situations, exercise good judgment, maintain self-control, and remain calm in a crisis.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, a good attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity, and honesty.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with residents, site personnel, volunteers, peers, and supervisors.
- Good comprehension and communication skills, including active listening.
- Must speak and write in English.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, smartphones, and basic office equipment.
- Experience as a Front Desk Clerk is required.
