About the Role

WM is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator II to join their team, offering stable work, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career advancement in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operates heavy equipment in compliance with company operating safety policies and procedures.
  • Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records.
  • Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
  • Follows appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.
  • Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) rarely.
  • Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if required for travel or federal property access.
