About the Role
Nscale seeks a Behavioral Architect to design incentive plans that drive hyper-growth sales targets while safeguarding corporate margins and aligning with hardware deployment realities. This role involves building foundational compensation models and bridging the gap between sales and finance/HR.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete blueprint for all GTM incentive plans (AEs, Deal Strategists, Leaders), ensuring they drive the right behavioral outcomes and align with Nscale's long-term business strategy.
- Design sophisticated payout structures that tie commissions to hardware deployment schedules, utilization rates, and realized margins.
- Act as the objective translator and negotiator between Sales leadership and Finance/HR.
- Partner with RevOps to model territories and set quotas based on rigorous data.
- Manage the ongoing administration of plans, handle exception requests, and ensure legal compliance across global jurisdictions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in compensation architecture, RevOps, or sales incentive design, preferably within a hardware, cloud, or complex B2B enterprise environment.
- Extremely high EQ and a thick skin; ability to manage tension between sales demands and corporate governance.
- Advanced financial modeling skills; ability to build complex, multi-variable spreadsheet models.
- Player-coach mentality; comfortable presenting to the Board and handling individual commission disputes.
- Deep understanding of commission software tools and integration with payroll mechanics.
