About the Role

The Distribution Lead will oversee and assist with the distribution of parts as directed by the manufacturer, ensuring orders are filled accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers, coworkers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate excellent service.
• Establish daily workflow and prioritize tasks on an hourly basis.
• Act as a liaison with the Customer Service Team to ensure timely order delivery, assist with customer inquiries, and monitor/handle customer returns.
• Utilize ERP system to search for inventory levels, order information, and transaction details.
• Collaborate with the Purchaser to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.
• Release and process orders when they are ready for fulfillment.
• Learn and maintain training in all aspects of distribution to assist in any role.
• Ensure adequate resources and materials are available to meet customer needs.
• Receive inbound orders into the ERP system and support the put-away process.
• Comply with United Radio's policies, procedures, and quality systems.
• Perform related duties as requested.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts related to probability and statistics.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities appropriately.

Education Level

• High school diploma or general education (GED).
