About the Role

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking an Administrative Assistant for its growing Healthcare practice. This role supports consultants working on health care reform, regulation, and consulting engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings, conference calls, travel, and events.
  • Oversee time entry and coding.
  • Reconcile monthly billing statements and track against budget.
  • Prepare and format documents in Word.
  • Manage and track expense reimbursements.
  • Provide back-up support to other administrative assistants.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience supporting multiple professionals.
  • Ability to keep team members on track with processes, policies, and deadlines.
  • Must possess a reliable, friendly, and positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize activities.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet client deadline expectations.
  • Creative and independent thinker, comfortable asking questions.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and courtesy when interacting with others, including clients.
  • Strong initiative and self-motivation.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Comfortable learning new software programs that support business operations.
