About the Role

This fast-paced role involves working in a highly collaborative and cross-functional organization to drive rapid growth in a new and exciting channel for the company. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert on all things Amazon, with a specific focus on the Amazon Marketplace, leveraging platform knowledge to achieve KPIs for audience engagement, acquisition costs, and revenue growth. This individual will serve as the business owner, creating and implementing strategies to achieve financial goals, with a proven track record of driving results on the Amazon platform.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Amazon business end-to-end, including oversight of budgeting, P&L, and strategic growth planning.
  • Develop and implement an ASIN strategy focused on category segmentation, lifecycle management, and portfolio optimization.
  • Handle product detail pages (PDPs) with optimized content, A/B testing, and conversion tracking.
  • Interface directly with Amazon teams to address operational concerns, manage escalations, and secure promotional placements.
  • Monitor Seller Central inventory reports to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to forecast inventory needs and reduce overstock or stockout risks.
  • Oversee Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) models for efficiency.
  • Create and optimize Brandstore, A+ Content, including Premium A+ modules, for enhanced product visibility and conversion rates.
  • Maintain the online catalog with accurate and updated pricing, images, videos, and enhanced brand storytelling.
  • Manage customer service operations via Seller Central’s communication tools, ensuring timely resolution of customer queries and disputes.
  • Implement strategies to improve customer experience and improve/increase and manage reviews to maintain a positive account health rating.
  • Organize sales events (eg Prime Day, Black Friday) and collaborate with internal teams for aligned messaging and strategies.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for ASIN performance, ad spend ROI, and overall account health.
  • Present detailed weekly and monthly reports to executive leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Hire, train, and mentor team members to build a high-performing Amazon team.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for managing Seller Central and ad campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon policies and brand registry protection initiatives.
  • Be on the forefront of new tools and beta opportunities that could benefit the channel.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in an Amazon-centric position with deep expertise in Seller Central
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytically minded with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present account performance to senior leadership
  • Creative thinker and problem solver - eager to roll sleeves up
