About the Role

Echo Neurotechnologies is seeking a versatile Brand and Visual Designer to define and evolve our visual identity. You will be the primary architect of our company’s look and feel, ensuring a cohesive and premium aesthetic across our corporate brand and our suite of medical products. This role bridges brand strategy and visual assets, creating design systems and motion graphics. As an early designer, you will collaborate closely with engineering and other functions, shaping the role of design throughout the company.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and scale comprehensive brand guidelines for the parent company and product lines.
Design high-fidelity graphics, icons, and illustrative elements for medical device software and marketing materials.
Create purposeful animations and transitions to improve user comprehension and elevate storytelling.
Translate abstract neural data and AI states into intuitive, high-fidelity visual representations.
Partner with Interaction Designers to apply visual systems to UI components.
Ensure the brand resonates with clinicians and patients by working with clinical/product teams.
Manage the end-to-end creative process from conceptual moodboarding to asset delivery for various interfaces.

Requirements

A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to build and implement complex visual identity systems across digital and physical touchpoints.
Ability to create custom medical or technical illustrations and graphics that simplify complex data for patients.
Experience in 2D animation (e.g., After Effects, Lottie, or Figma motion) to create functional and decorative animations.
Experience building scalable, accessible style guides and component libraries for cross-functional teams.
Experience translating complex clinical concepts into accessible and professional visuals.
Experience designing for integrated systems where software interacts with physical hardware.
Experience applying brand identity to physical spaces or medical device packaging.
Experience coaching, mentoring, or managing a small team of designers.
