About the Role

Provide direct care and training to individuals with traumatic brain injuries, helping them achieve hope, independence, and a more meaningful life. Supervise patients in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and therapeutic home programs within a residential setting, and engage in community activities.

Responsibilities

  • Teach, monitor, administer, and document individual patient programs including ADLs and therapeutic home programs in English.
  • Perform bed, bath, toilet, and chair transfers (up to 20 times per shift) using approved transfer techniques.
  • Ensure the safety of patients, visitors, staff, and yourself when interacting with patients who may exhibit challenging behaviors.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Must successfully complete a drug screen, health screen, and criminal record check (fingerprints).

  • $19.00/hr. starting wage
  • Opportunity to earn up to $21.25/hr. within six months
