About the Role
This role involves driving gym performance through detailed planning, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring an excellent member experience. You will lead and develop a team of Personal Trainers/Fitness Coaches and an Assistant Gym Manager, manage Group Exercise offerings, and collaborate with other Gym Managers to enhance regional performance.
Responsibilities
- Drive gym performance by investing time in detail, setting action plans for improvement, and ensuring a safe and legal environment.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
- Establish and develop a highly engaged team of Personal Trainers/Fitness Coaches and an Assistant Gym Manager.
- Recruit Personal Trainers/Fitness Coaches and proactively find new talent.
- Deliver an excellent member experience through a constant focus on service and standards.
- Manage and improve Group Exercise offerings within the gym.
- Build close working relationships with other Gym Managers within the cluster to strengthen regional performance.
Requirements
- Previous management experience.
- A passion for fitness and wellbeing.
- Comfortable with managing budgets, financial reporting, and inventory.
- Resilience, confidence, and integrity.
- A L2 qualification in gym instructing.
- Experience teaching group exercise.
